RHEPI has so far built up to over 70 water tanks, nick named "UMUKOMERO" for poor model farmers in the north eastern province of Rwanda. Also RHEPI was invited by CAWST(Center for Affordable Water and sanitation Technologies -Canada)to train zambians this technology and they were enthusiastic about it and also nick named it "UMUTONDO".

The only challenge in Rwanda is wood shavings to fill in the empty gunny bags and transporting these bulky materials to different sites. If a suitable frame or mold that does not need refilling with shavings, the tanks would be much cheaper.
