On 7 August the Scottish Government announced that CED had been successful in its application with PVDP for funds to help poor communities in the Thar Desert area of Pakistan. PVDP are an established development agency in Pakistan. Two years ago, together with CED, they applied for funding from the Scottish Government for a project to help rural communities. Background: CED has supported poor communities in Uganda for many years in partnership with the Church of Uganda.
