Like any charity, CED has ‘Unrestricted’ funds, which may be used for any purpose at the discretion of the Directors/Trustees, and ‘Restricted’ funds, which may be used only for the purpose for which they were donated, unless the donor gives approval for a change of purpose. CED’s ‘Unrestricted’ income comes primarily from donations by members, other individuals, groups or other charities. ‘Restricted’ income is received from a wide variety of grant-making bodies, usually in response to an application. CED seeks funding through publicity, primarily through taking stands at relevant exhibitions. CED has no sales and no sponsorship or funding partnerships, other than those related to specific projects.

Donations are welcome and will always be acknowledged.
